Time sure flies when you're having fun. Another camping season has come and gone and the Holidays are upon us. For some it just means they'll continue their camping adventures in a warmer climate and for others.... snow shovels.

We began our 2011 camping season with the state outing in May in Zeeland in time for the Tulip Fesival. The state rally in June was in Ludington and lastly our fall outing was held in Hopkins, Michigan. The state campouts take us to various cities and towns giving us a chance to see what the state of Michigan has to offer. The chapters are spread around the state and do a pretty good job of planning the outings keeping WWW on the move. Let's keep our fingers crossed that fuel prices will make filling our tanks a little less painful next year.

This coming year will be our 40th Anniversary which we will celebrate at the June Rally in Ludington. " Forty Years of Treasured Memories" will be the theme. If your chapter has any pictures from the past that you would like to display on a foam board or however you want to, I think WWW members would enjoy looling at them.

The May, 2012 spring outing will be held in St. Louis, Mi. which is in the center of the state making it more easily accessible for all members.

The September outing for 2012 needs a little tweaking so we will have more information to follow.

I think the chapters that are hosting 2012 state outings are doing a great job of holding the line on cost for their outings and allowing us to get together for another fun filled year.

If you are a fan of Water Wonderland Winnies on Facebook, you already know that our Water Wonderland Winnies enjoyed a great 2011 WIT camping season. The 2012 season looks to be just as great. The only thing that would make it better is having you join us in some good old fashioned WIT family fun. Mark your calendar for our 2012 camping season kick-off, May 18 - 20 at the St. Louis Campground in St. Louis, MI.

The Water Wonderland Winnies (WWW) Map displays club campout locations.  This is an embedded interactive Google map that you can drag and enlarge or reduce map size.  Each icon represents a location that can be clicked to open an information window.  Hot links in the window take you to that location's website.  The information window's To here, From here and Search nearby features connect you to Google Maps where you can get a highlighted route to or from your current location and find nearby restaurants and other places of interest.  Clicking on the View Larger Map link at the bottom of the map takes you to Google Maps and gives you a clickable list to open specific WWW information windows.
